At NextGlobe, accessible from nextglobe.net and all its subdomains, as well as all other services and games of NextGlobe (e.g. werewolf-online.io), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This privacy policy document contains information about which data we collect and record as well as how we use it.
If you have additional questions, require more information about our privacy policy, want to delete or export any data records that contain personally identifiable data or think that we violate our privacy policy, please contact us via email at [email protected].
We follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit our websites or use our services/games. The information collected by log files may include the users internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, date and time stamp and referring/exit pages (if applicable). These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. We collect these log files in order to monitor our systems and their stability.
We only use cookies to store essential data required for our services and games to work and to optimize the user experience. There are some exceptions, for example cookies from advertising partners, Google Analytics and Matomo. You will find more information on our ad partners, Google Analytics and Matomo down below.
For more general information on cookies, please read the following article: https://www.cookieconsent.com/what-are-cookies/. You can also choose to disable cookies through your browser options. To get more details about cookie management in specific web browsers, visit their respective websites or look up their help pages (in most browsers you can open them by pressing F1).
We use Sentry in our games in order to detect crashes as well as errors and be able to fix them as fast as possible. Some games may also use Sentry's performance monitoring solution, which enables us to make our games even better.
Please review Sentrys' privacy policy at https://sentry.io/privacy/ for more information.
In order to show relevant advertisements in our games and services for our users, we have several ad partners. Parts of the potential income is used to cover various expenses like server costs, domain renewal fees, etc. and to donate to charity organizations. You have the possibility to deny personalized ads by disabling the corresponding legitimate interests (e.g. "Select personalised ads"). You will still receive the same amount of ads, but they won't be personalized. You can also opt-out of personalized ads directly at some ad vendors, for example Google: https://www.google.com/settings/ads. You have the possibility to disable sharing personalized data with specific vendors under "Data preferences" > "Vendor preferences"
Please also review Googles' privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and the privacy policies of the other vendors/ad networks if you have not already opted out.
We use Googles Analytics in our games and on our website in order to track how many users use our service and games and how you use them. We use this information to shape our roadmap and prioritize certain functionality and features. We also use this information to gain a general overview of our target audience. We do not send any personally identifiable data to Google and try to protect the data of our users at any given point in time. You also have the possibility to opt-out of Google Analytics in all of our games and services as well as our website - just disable the corresponding legitimate interests (e.g. "Apply market research to generate audience insights") (Website: disable the switch "Google Analytics" under "Analytics"). You can also install a browser extension (e.g. https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) to opt-out of Google Analytics.
Please also review Googles' privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We use Google Signals to gain a deeper insight into our audience. Visitation information that is collected by Google Analytics from our services is associated with Google information from accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association for the purpose of ads personalization. This Google information may include end user location, search history, YouTube history, and data from sites that partner with Google—and is used to provide aggregated and anonymized insights into our users' cross device behaviors.
You can disable this behaviour by disabling personalized advertising. You can also access and/or delete the collected data at Google My Activity.
We use Matomo in our games and on our website in order to track how many users use our service and games. We use this information to shape our roadmap and prioritize certain functionality and features. We also use this information to gain a general overview of our target audience. We do not send any personally identifiable data to our Matomo instance and protect the data of our users at any given point in time. You also have the possibility to opt-out of Matomo Analytics in all of our games and services as well as our website by enabling "Do-Not-Track" in your browser or by enabling the checkbox "Opt-out of Matomo" under "Analytics" / disable the corresponding legitimate interests (e.g. "Apply market research to generate audience insights"). Matomo analytics data is stored on our servers located in Germany and is regularly checked for data integrity.

We use Mixpanel in Werewolf Online in order to track feature usage. We track various actions like room creations. We also associate data like the unique, non personally identifiable player id with Mixpanel profiles. If you are logged into your NextGlobe Account, we also associate your account id as well as your email address and avatar with Mixpanel profiles. We use this information to gain deep insights into user journeys without disrupting privacy - we aggregate this data to generate various statistics. With this data, we shape our roadmap and prioritize certain functionality and features. This data will only be tracked if you consent via the consent management dialog. You can also turn this off by enabling "Do-Not-Track" in your browser. Data is stored in Europe. You can always ask us to export or delete the personally identifiable data that we store about you for you by contacting us at [email protected].

We use Auth0 to ensure secure user identities and to connect users to our applications.
